Born in Istanbul, Murat graduated from Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts in 1999.
Versatile, this artist stands out for the variety of techniques and materials used: plastics, felts, fine wool fibers, all bringing great depth to his works.
Murat emphasizes the growing alienation of human beings by referring to concepts of a visual dimension such as fusion and disappearance, similar to cities that grow rapidly and disproportionately. This gives a new interpretation to contemporary art.
Working with different materials such as felt and paint, his works can be found in various collections, in particular at MSGSÜ, the Museum of Painting and Sculpture in Istanbul, the University of Ege, the Museum of Graphic Arts in Imoga and the collection of the Evliyagil Museum.
Murat has also participated in several exhibitions in Istanbul, Izmir and Ankara.
